Martin Brown Mosaics creates intricate and finely detailed portraits of both people and animals.
Working from photographs provided by the client, they are then enlarged to the desired size,
before the painstaking process of interpreting begins, using minuscule pieces of cut glass, to obtain the desired
tone, volume and subtlety required to form a convincing portrayal.

Case study: The Levy Portrait.
This portrait was commissioned as a wedding anniversary present.
We were given an old photo to work from and from there a specific size was discussed.
Certain small adjustments were made on the computer, before the photo was blown up and work started.
On finishing the portrait was framed and them shipped from Barcelona to Mexico.
The project was completed in 6 weeks.
